FAQ's

1. What are the screening criteria for surrogate.

As per the health of the surrogates, we select only few of the many surrogate mom that we screen, who are in the best of health, having good reproductive history, free of  any sexually transmitted diseases.

2. What is the success rate of surrogacy in India?

The success rate in surrogacy is 55- 60%

3. When would it be possible to see profiles of egg donors?

We always share the profile of SM and Donor after signing the agreement with IP (intended Parents).

4. Can I proceed with a surrogacy as a single parent?

Yes, you can proceed with a surrogacy as a single parent

5. Which of your hospitals provides this service and where it is located?

We are associated with multispeciality  hospitals only ( New delhi) i.e. Sir Ganga Ram, Apollo, Max & Artemis in order to have better transparency, corporate culture and best results

6. Do we need to do any medical tests before arriving?

Please arrange to provide all the required medical reports such as CBC, HPLC, Urine (R/E), T3 T4 TSH, Blood Sugar(R), Blood Group, HIV , HB sag, VDRL,HCV(Ig G) and Day2-3 (FSH, LH, E2), AMH, Ultrasound Pelvis.

7. Is it confidential ?

Yes, the process is strictly confidential, moreover in none of the  certificates/documents the term Surrogacy word is mentioned.

8. If surrogate mother is pregnant, where will she reside till delivery?

The surrogate would stay with her own family under the regular supervision  of our staff members. Our team of Councellors regularly monitor and  fulfill their clinical dietary and medicinal needs.

9. What would be the total cost from start till new born baby?

The total cost is & 26500 for Value pack which include 1 surrogate with  2 attempts (1 IVF procedure and 1 with frozen embryos – only if available )

10. What are the legal papers that the surrogate will be signing?

Apart from the contract between WSC (Wyzax Surrogacy Consultants) and IP ( Intended parents), there would be total of 5 contracts between IP, SM (Surrogate Mother) , her husband and IVF Centre.

11. What are the legal requirements which I and my wife will need to fulfill? I am still  Indian citizen but US resident and my wife is American citizen.

12. What will be the method of interaction between us and you for instance video chat, emails, and phone calls?

It all depends on you, we can chat through skype, google talk, emails, what so ever is convenient for you.

13. Can I choose the sex of the child?

As per the law in India we cannot predict the gender of the baby using PGD/Aminocentosis which is being used only to rule out any genetic deformalities

14. Can you send me ultra-sound pictures on email to me?

Yes, we can send you ultrasound picture on email to you.

15. Whose names will be on the birth certificate?

Names of Intended parents /Genetic parents will be there on birth certificate.

16. Does a surrogate have to go on bed rest after the transfer?

Guidelines vary from one IVF clinic to another, however, typically require some type of modified bed rest for 24-36 hours is required.

17. Is There A Difference Between Frozen And Fresh Embryo Transfer Pregnancy Rates?

Yes. There are higher pregnancy rates using fresh embryos; however, there is still some discussion on this issue. The higher rates could be a function of the fact that the best quality embryos are used first.
